Breaking the Silence: The Return of a Blogger

It’s been far too long since I’ve tended to this site. I’ll pretend it’s because so much has happened over the last four or five months, and not because I’m lazy.

With that in mind, here’s what happened:

Since June, one job was lost and another was found. There was this little trip to China that was more than incredible. I dropped out of bar school – no joke. Oh, and of course there were some other, more serious matters that I won’t bother boring you with…

Point being, I really miss this old girl. @CripplerJones is something I’ve taken great pride in since I first bought this domain one year ago, and if I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: I’m not giving up on her just yet.

With that out of the way, I’m planning to boot the site back up for the second time since launch within the next 45 days or so. Whether I’ll be doing it alone or with the help of a handful of other passionate gamers remains to be seen. Regardless, I can’t stand the thought of letting this blog go by the wayside; it’s just too damn good.

So while I take the next month and a half to dust and deodorize (Read: “Play Grand Theft Auto, Pokémon, and Super Smash Bros. Wii U.”), you just keep on sittin’ pretty. I’ll be back to bloggin’ in no time.

Just two small favors before you go:

  1. If you want to write or create content for @CripplerJones, contact me. All ideas are fair game.
  2. Even if you don’t want to write or create content for @CripplerJones, I’m still open to suggestions for content. I want to know what you’d like to see from this site!

In the mean time, enjoy all of the great titles coming out this week. It’s an awesome time of year to be a gamer.

All the best!

Perry Piekarski (CripplerJones)
