On Tuesday, June 10, Nintendo will be hosting its first public tournament of the new Super Smash Bros. game for Wii U.
While tournament entries aren’t open to the public (Nintendo already has 16 previously selected Super Smash Bros. players in mind), the event will be open to spectators, with 3,000 wristbands available on a first-come, first-served basis the day of the event.
As an added perk, cosplayers dressed as their favorite Super Smash Bros. characters have a shot at being selected for priority seating at the front of the stage.
The event will be live-streamed on the Twitch E3 channel and Nintendo’s own Twitch channel, so if you can’t make it to the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, you can still check it out from the comfort of your couch or computer chair.
