Theatrhythm Curtain Call Collector’s Edition Detailed

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call, a game with a very long, strange name, will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS on September 16, 2014, according Square Enix.

Along with news of an official release date, Square Enix also detailed the collector’s edition and pre-order incentives for the game.

The collector’s edition will be limited to 5,000 copies, including a “branded Nintendo 3DS system collector’s pouch,” a 20-track “Best Of” music CD, a five-track “Remix” CD, and five “premium CollectaCards” from the game, all for $69.99, exclusively through the Square Enix online store.

If that’s too rich for your blood, you can always settle for a pre-order of the standard edition, which comes with a “complimentary upgrade” to the limited edition. The upgrade includes the “Remix” CD mentioned above at a grand total of $39.99.

I played the demo of the first Theatrhythm and had a good time. I always thought it’d be a great release for the Vita, but there’s obviously no word on one at the moment.

Pre-orders are now open on Amazon. Just click the game’s cover art above.
