Xbox One Without Kinect Coming June, $399

The people have spoken – and Microsoft listened.

In a surprise announcement, Microsoft unveiled the “Xbox One Standard Edition” today, which does not include Kinect.

Priced at $399 (£349 in the UK), this puts the Xbox One at the same price point as Sony’s PlayStation 4. It’s obvious Microsoft wants to compete, and at least for now, it seems like they’re beginning to realize gamers like to be heard and feel like they have a choice.

Here’s everything you’re getting with the Xbox One Standard Edition:

  • Xbox One Console
  • Wireless Controller
  • Chat Headset
  • HDMI cable
  • Power Supply

The Xbox One Standard Edition without Kinect is releasing June 9, 2014. If this is the Xbox One you’ve been waiting for, you can already pre-order it on Amazon.
